You can connect the GP-4G01 between a host device and device/PLC that do not have Ethernet interfaces, and use Gateway Mode to transfer data via a newly created network while maintaining existing communication.
By just replacing a connection cable, changes to an existing system's host device and device/PLC are unnecessary.
For device/PLC that support Gateway Mode, refer to the "GP-Pro EX Device/PLC Manual" .
Follow the steps below to use Gateway Mode.
Procedure - Use Gateway Mode
From [Peripheral Settings] open [Device/PLC]. Define the [Series] and [Communication Settings] to match the existing system settings. For information about device/PLC settings, see the "GP-Pro EX Device/PLC Manual" .
Select the [Use Gateway Mode] check box.
