25.7.3 Operation - Automatic Save

Save data from Sampling Group1 as file name "SA00000.csv" in the CF Card.

  1. The file number "0" is stored in the address (D301) next to the set [CSV Control Word Address].

  2. Write the command [0020h] in the set [CSV Control Word Address] (D300). If the display unit enters the Auto Save mode normally, the status "2000h" will be written from the display unit to D300.

  3. When data is sampled for the designated Occurrences, the CSV data is exported to the CF Card.
"SA00000.csv" is created in the CF Card's "SAMP01" folder.

  4. When data is sampled for the designated Occurrences again, that period's CSV data is automatically exported and added to the existing "SA00000.csv" file in the "SAMP01" folder.
While D300 is "2000h" the Auto Save mode will continue.

  5. Write the command "0021h" to D300, and the auto save mode ends. When the display unit ends Auto Save mode, 0000h is written to D300.

File Save

Sampling data that is stored in the display unit is output to the CSV file after sampling for the designated cycles finishes, not when writing the Auto Save command.

For example, Sampling Occurrences = 4

Even if writing the Auto Save command at the end of the third sampling, the first to fourth sampling data at the end of the fourth sampling is output to CSV.

Additionally, at the end of the eighth sampling, the fifth to eighth sampling data is automatically output, added and saved to the existing file.

Auto Save Exiting and Resuming - File Save

If writing End Auto Save, the sampling data up until the command is written is output to CSV even during a sampling cycle (even if the designated number of data samples are not completed).

Also, when starting or resuming Auto Save (when you write a Start Auto Save command), sampling data in the display unit is written to CSV from the start data (the oldest data), regardless of the previous data save status.

For example, Sampling Occurrences = 4

By writing an End Auto Save command in the address at the end of the tenth sampling, the ninth and tenth sampling data is output to CSV, added and saved to the existing file.

When resuming Auto Save (writing an Auto Save command in the address) at the end of the tenth sampling, the 9th to 12th sampling data at the end of the 12th sampling is added and saved to the existing file. Because of this, the ninth and tenth data in the CSV file is duplicated.
