4.7 Screen Capture

Camera-Viewer EX can capture still images of live video or playback video files.

The height and width of captured images is the same as the Camera-Viewer EX play video window.

The screen capture file name and storage location differs depending on the Camera-Viewer EX operation mode.

When viewing the display unit's video camera image

For example,

If the destination folder is "C:\Capture\Plant\Floor\Unit1.CMVE" and the screen image is captured on October 17, 2008 at 18:04:17, the file is saved as follows. C:\Capture\Plant\Floor\Unit1.Data\2008_10_17\Unit1.2008_10_17–18_04_17.Live.JPG

When Playing a Video File

Video files recorded in Camera-Viewer EX (SDX version 2.0)

The screen capture file is named using the following rule: "<video file name up to the first period>.<Year_Month_Date>-<Hours_Minutes_Seconds>.Video.JPG".

The screen capture's year, month, date and time are based on when the video was recorded, not the time of the video playback. Time is based on the display unit clock when the video was recorded.

For example,

When playing the video file "Unit1.2009_04_01-14_30_00.SDX" and the current time of the video is April 1, 2009 at 14:34:33 when the screen capture takes place, the file name is as follows.

Unit1.2009_04_01-14_34_33.Video.JPG

Video files recorded in a different application (SDX version 1.0)

The format of screen capture file names is the same as when playing video recorded in Camera-Viewer EX. However, the date and time is the time that has elapsed from the beginning of the video.

For example,

When playing the video file "MC080919_094414.SDX" and 1 minute and 2 seconds elapsed from the beginning of the video when the screen capture takes place, the file name is as follows.

MC080919_094414.0000_00_00-00_01_02.Video.JPG
