Video File Name
When recording video images in Camera-Viewer EX, the video file name is generated by appending [<Year_Month_Date>-<Hours_Minutes_Seconds>.SDX] to the Camera-Viewer EX settings file name. The time is the time on the computer when the recording starts.
Example:
If the Camera-Viewer EX settings file name is "Machine1.CMVE" and the video recording started at 12:48:33 on June 1, 2009, the video is names as follows.
Machine1.2009_06_01-12_48_33.SDX
Recorded Video File Folder
In the folder defined in the [Properties] dialog box's [Destination Folder for Record/Screen Capture Files] field, video files are saved in sub folders split into separate days.
If there is no folder specified in the [Destination Folder for Record/Screen Capture Files] field, video files are saved in the folder where the Camera-Viewer EX settings files are stored.
For more details about the [Properties] dialog box, see the following.
4.6 [Properties] Dialog Box
Example:
The settings file is saved in "C:\Digital\Line\Machine1.CMVE" and when "movie\test" is entered as the [Destination Folder for Record/Screen Capture Files], the folder structure is as follows.
If you change the video file name or folder structure, video files may not play in consecutive order. Camera-Viewer EX determines consecutive videos and the playback order by video file and folder names.
Define the [Destination Folder for Record/Screen Capture Files] so that video file names, including the file path and extension, are 255 single-byte characters or less.
