SP5000/ Is it possible to change the touch pointer that is displayed when the screen on the open box (model: PFXSP5B40 ) is touched?

SP5000 Series: When the screen on the open box (model: PFXSP5B40 ) is touched, the following touch pointer is displayed.

Via Windows setting, it is possible to change the touch pointer to the arrow-shaped mouse pointer as shown below.

<<Setting procedure>>

1. In the program search area that is displayed from the Windows [Start] menu, enter "Regedit."

2. The registry editor starts. Selecting [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Wisp\Pen\SysEventParameters] displays the following contents.

3: Change the displayed contents as follows.

UICursorMode: Change the value to 0.
UIButtonMode: Newly enter 0.
UIRightTapMode: Newly enter 0.
UIDoubleTapMode: Newly enter 0.
UITapMode: Newly enter 0.

MEMO

By creating a transparent mouse pointer on your own, it is possible to make the mouse pointer invisible.

However, the file extension of the image for mouse cursor is .cur, and it is not possible to use an ordinary image file (.jpg, .gif, etc.) as a mouse cursor icon as it is.

Some pieces of free software offer tools to convert .jpg and .gif files into .cur files. Use such software in advance to create a transparent mouse pointer.

Note that when a transparent pointer is set, it may be difficult to recognize the touched point and execute screen operation.

1. Save a transparent mouse pointer file (.cur) in C:\Windows\Cursors.
2. From [Control panel] -> [Hardware and Sound] -> [Devices and printers], select a mouse.

3. Select the [Pointer] tab and click "Browse."
Select a transparent mouse pointer file that was created in advance.
