Lifetimes of HDD and SSD

Lifetimes of the HDD unit and the SSD unit are as follows:

■ HDD

The lifetime of the HDD unit is whichever of the followings comes first:

●	5 years
●	20,000 operating hours
●	600,000 cycles of head loading/unloading

■ SSD

The expected lifetime of the SSD unit based on the number of writes can be calculated with the following formula.

Example:
The expected life time when writing 512 MB of data once per minute is approximately 6 years.
