How to adjust Brightness and Contrast

Brightness and Contrast of GP can be adjusted on GP.

However, there are some types which can not be adjusted Brightness and Contrast.

How to adjust Brightness

Please touch 2 corners of the bottom of the screen in order from 1->2 to display the Brightness Adjustment Bar.

After adustment, please touch any part of the screen to remove the bar.

Memo

-	Brightness Adjustment can be set while operating the system.
-	Brightness Adjustment can not be set while [Start Time] running. As per a characteristic of the Type, it needs more or less time to get the Practical Maximum Brightness after Power is on. In normal temperature, it will take about 10 minutes to get 70% of the Maximum Brightness.

How to adjust Contrast.

Please touch 2 corners of the above of the screen in order from @ - A to display the Contrast Adjustment Bar.

After adjustment, please touch any part of the screen to remove the bar.

Memo

-	Contrast Adjustment can be set while operating the system.
-	Contrast Adjustment can not be set while [Start TIme] running.
-	The illustration above is for STN Color Type. With Monochrome Types, [Dark] will be displayed in the left, and [Bright] will be in the right.

Available Types of Brightness Adjustment and Contrast Adjustment

Available Types of Brightness Adjustment

2000 Series	All Types ( 4-Level-Adjustment )
77R/77 Series	All Types ( 477RE has 2-Level-Adjustment, other 77R have 4-Level-Adjustment)
70 Series	470E has 2-Level-Adjustment, other Types don't have Brightness Adjustment.

Available Types of Contrast Adjustment

2000 Series	2501S, 2301S, 2301HS, 2300L, 2301L ( 8-Level-Adjustment )
77R/77 Series	577RS, 377S, 377L ( 8-Level-Adjustment )
70 Series	570S、675S、270S、270L、370S、370L、H70S、H70L ( 8-Level-Adjustment )

In case that it is not possible to adjust Brightness or Contrast even if the type is available type of adjustment.

You can find the items to set "enabled/disabled" of Brightness Adjustment and Contrast Adjustment on the Offline Screen.

Please follow the instructions as Offline - [IO Settings] - [Touch Panel Settings].
