In case that the EX module is attached properly

Turn off the LT and remove the terminal connector or the MIL connector. Turn on the LT and check if LED of the EX module is lighting or not.

LED is lighting |
|
Turn off the LT. Attach the terminal connector or the MIL connector again and check if it can communicate.
|
|

|
LED is not lighting |
|
The EX module is not recognized. Please contact your local distributor.

|
In case that the EX module is not attached properly
|

Turn off the LT, and attach the extend connector properly. Check if the connector pin is not bent or damaged
|
| 2. |
Select [Peripheral Settings] → [EXM Driver] → [I/O Monitor] on the offline mode of the main unit. If the module number and the module type are not displayed, the EX module is not recognized. Please contact your local distributor.
