FAQ Can a vision sensor be connected? COGNEX In-Sight Vision Systems (In-Sight Micro series, In-Sight 5000 series) can be connected to operator interface on Ethernet.  A communication driver for COGNEX In-Sight is available and communication is possible without programs. It’s possible to display loaded videos on a screen of operator interface and adjusts a vision sensor there.     IMPORTANT - For connecting COGNEX In-Sight Vision Systems, GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.7 or later is required. GP-Pro EX Upgrade Service   - For details of connectable COGNEX In-Sight Vision Systems, see GP-Pro EX Device/PLC Connection Manual.   - Applicable models of operator interface are the ones that have Ethernet I/F. (*Except GP-3200 and GP-3300 series under Rev 4) For details, refer to [1.5 Supported Features] of GP-Pro EX Reference Manual and find the item called [Image Sensor Display] in it. The models that support [Image Sensor Display] can be connected to COGNEX In-Sight Vision Systems.
