3.9.3.7 Search - Preferences

Search Option

Set a search method.

Find complete match only

When the check box is selected, only text with a complete match is found.
When it is not selected, all text is targeted for the search.

  • When [Find complete match only] is selected, the following search conditions cannot be changed.

  • Match case option (Selected)

  • Enable wild card (Not selected)

  • Replace with text (Not selected)

Match case

When this is selected, search text and found target text are compared and upper case and lower case letters are distinguished.

Enable wild card

When this is selected, wild card search is enabled. Wild card is used in the following methods.

For example, in the [Search for text] field enter [Alarm??]
→[AlarmAB] comes up in the search but not [AlarmA], which has less characters than the search string.

For example, in the [Search for text] field enter [Alarm*]
→Both [AlarmA] and [AlarmAB] come up in the search.

Search target

Selects the screen and settings to be searched.

Base Screen

Specifies whether to search the base screen as well as the search range from 1 to 9999.

Window Screens

Specifies whether to search the window screen as well as the search range from 1 to 2000.

Keypad

Specifies whether to search the keypad screens as well as the search range from 1 to 8999.

Image Unit Window

Specifies whether to search the image unit window as well as the search range from 1 to 512.

Header/Footer

Specifies whether to search the header/footer.

Alarm Settings

Specifies whether to search the alarm settings.

Symbol Variables

Specifies whether to search the symbol variable setting.

Logic (INIT)

Specifies whether to search Logic (INIT) screens.

Logic (MAIN)

Specifies whether to search Logic (MAIN) screens.

Logic (SUB)

Specifies whether to search Logic (SUB) screens as well as the search range from 1 to 32.

Logic (function logic)

Specifies whether to search the function logic.

I/O

Specifies whether to search I/O screens.

Selected Parts

Select All

Searches for all parts.

Clear All

Clears all the parts selected for the search.
