Do not remove the EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit while the display unit power is on. Otherwise, a mismatch in the security data will occur. As a result, fingerprint recognition may not operate properly and/or password settings may not display properly. If it doesn't operate properly, please update the EZ Fingerprint Recognition database.
When the EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit is turned on and the USB cable is disconnected, the data in the unit will be deleted. When operating the power on the EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit, make sure that the EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit and the display unit or computer are connected.
Touch operation is not available while updating the EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit database. However, you can operate the system menu.
Up to 100 people can register their fingerprint. (It is necessary to register two fingerprints per each user.)
When the password setting is Level Mode, fingerprints cannot be registered. Please use the User ID Mode.
Fingerprint data cannot be acquired from the EZ fingerprint recognition unit database.
In the security list screen, you cannot delete only fingerprint data from the security data of the registered fingerprint. Delete the user, and set the level/user ID and password once again.
Fingerprint data cannot be managed using the CSV file.
When you change a password online using password setting data in CSV format, the fingerprint data is removed from the security data. Change the project password settings and transfer the project file again, otherwise you will not be able to login to the EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit.
If you have set the login screen to [Display ID Only] or [Do not display ID], you will be unable to login using the EZ fingerprint recognition unit.
The security list screen does not display fingerprint information when the EZ fingerprint recognition unit is not connected to the display unit.
You can import/export security data even when not logged in.
