30.14.2.1 Checking Memory Usage

  1. From the [Project (F)] menu, point to [Information (I)] and select [Project Information (I)].
    The [Project Information] dialog box appears.

  2. Click [Logic Memory] and then click the [Logic] tab to check [Logic Capacity (Steps)], [Variable Capacity], [Number of Addresses Used in Logic] and [Comment Memory].

  3. From [Variable Capacity], click [Details] to check the current number, assignable number, and the current sum for each symbol variable type.

    • You can choose to display [Retentive Variable]/[Volatile Variable] by clicking the tab.

  4. From the [Number of Addresses Used in Logic] dialog box, click [Details] to check the number of addresses or variables set up as [Bit], [Integer] or [System Variable] on the left-hand side, and the number of internal device addresses on the right-hand side.

    • The [Number of Addresses Used in Logic] is the number of device/PLC addresses of [PLC1]**** and internal device addresses of [USER]. Please note that the number of addresses that can be used in a logic program is limited.
