You can import CSV or tab-delimited, Unicode text files.
Imported files must have at least 3 columns of data, including the symbol name, type, and address.
Variable types defined in the file are not imported. Only bit and word address data is imported.
If there is a symbol already registered with the same, its data is overwritten.
Importing
Prepare a file with the symbol name, type, and address. (The following diagram shows a CSV file in Microsoft Excel.)
From the GP-Pro EX [Common Settings], click [Symbol Variable].
Click [Utility], select [Import], and then [Other Formats]. Select the CSV file you created.
Select the [Device/PLC].
In the [Data Start Row Number] field, enter the row number from which you want to start importing. (Example: 2)
Make sure the data in each column corresponds to the [Name], [Type], and [Address]. If they don't match, change the items to match the data columns.
In [Bit Address] and [Word Address], enter text to match the [Type] column.
Click [OK]. The imported data appears in the list.
