As part of the recorded video, Camera-Viewer EX includes time information based on the display unit clock.
If you change the time on the display unit in the middle of a video recording, it may result in the same time in one video file, or missing data from a particular time in the video file.
When playing back these types of video files, the time search function may not work properly and you may not be able to jump to a particular time in the file.
Camera-Viewer EX uses the display unit clock to define the recorded video file name. As a result, if the computer and display unit clocks are different, there may differences in the time shown in the video file name and the video content.
Camera-Viewer EX splits videos into separate files as defined in in the [Properties] dialog box's [Maximum Recording Time Per File] field. The computer clock is used for this purpose.
While using Camera-Viewer EX to record video from a display unit's video camera and you change the computer clock time, the video file may split on the change.
We recommend setting the same time on the display unit and computer clocks.
